KLAS report examines SR technology for EMRs

Market research firm KLAS has published a new report about the current marketplace and the use of speech recognition (SR) technology with electronic medical records (EMRs).

The report, titled "Speech Recognition: Going From Back to Front and Beyond," identifies industry leaders, current market share, and innovations in technology. Provider satisfaction with vendors as well as peer recommendations are also included.

Speech recognition companies profiled include Agfa HealthCare, Dolbey, M*Modal, and Nuance Communications, KLAS said.
