Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) said it introduced a pilot certification program at its recent North American Connectathon and Conference.
IHE worked with ICSA Labs on the accredited, standards-based certification program, which will confirm that systems are interoperable against established criteria. Certification will also include system surveillance to ensure that certified products continue to perform as tested over time, according to IHE.
A list of certified products will be published by IHE, in addition to appearing in the ICSA Labs product directory, IHE said.
