PACS vendor Medweb has announced its new Health Screening Suite application designed to extend PACS to common screening tests used in patient health assessment.
The Web-based Health Screening Suite comprises six modules: calcium scoring, bone density scoring, virtual colonoscopy, abdominal fat density scoring, stress tests, and echocardiograms, according to the San Francisco-based company.
The application, which can be added to a facility's existing PACS or integrated with Medweb's PACS, provides automated patient assessment reports integrated with regular radiologist reports, the firm said.
