Eklin posts revenue gains

Privately held veterinary imaging provider Eklin Medical Systems' revenues grew 45% in 2007 (end-December 31), compared to the previous year, the company announced.

The Santa Clara, CA, firm posted 2007 revenues of more than $35 million. Eklin attributed the growth to demand for its digital radiography and data management systems.

In 2007, installations at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in College Station included five RapidStudy DR systems, nine workstations, two servers with Eklin Remote Web-based, long-term storage service, and integration of 13 DICOM devices. Elkin also installed four RapidStudy systems, workstations, a PACS server, and 11 DICOM devices at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens.
