Foresight Imaging's TIMS Medical division has released TIMS Consultant 3.0, which enables "a second set of eyes and ears" for any surgery or diagnostic imaging procedure in real-time, TIMS said.
The upgrade provides "push" and "pull" workflow models, multiparty audio over IP, switching between video sources in one operating room, long format recording, and real-time sharing of recorded teaching files, among other features.
TIMS Consultant 3.0 allows radiologists to be more productive and patient-centric by participating in any radiology procedure as it happens without ever leaving the reading room, TIMS said. Real-time video and audio is streamed directly to the desktop computer, laptop, or tablet application, which runs on a Web browser.
