Accusoft debuts ImageGear for Java

Image compression software developer Accusoft has released ImageGear for Java, an imaging software development toolkit (SDK).

Document management systems process files in a variety of image formats, including GIF, TIFF, and DICOM. Using ImageGear for Java, an application can be built to convert, compress, and save the files in a common format to enhance processing and storage, the firm said.
