PACS vendor Medweb has introduced cloud storage technology to its portfolio.
Medweb also has aligned with Hewlett-Packard (HP) to demonstrate Medweb's cloud solutions as an integrated service on a variety of HP desktops and mobile workstations at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Orlando, FL.
Medweb's cloud-based PACS service extends certified Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)-compliant image archiving to medical practices of all sizes. As a monthly service, Medweb includes cross-enterprise document and image exchange profiles to link offices, clinics, and hospitals across health information exchanges, as well as among conventional radiology workflow profiles.
