NDS taps new CEO

NDS Surgical Imaging has appointed John Murphy as its new president and CEO, according to the San Jose, CA-based firm.

Murphy previously served as president and CEO of Celerity, chief operating officer at PerkinElmer, president of PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, and vice president and general manager at Honeywell International, according to NDS. Murphy replaces Carmen Piucci, who will become NDS Surgical Imaging's chairman emeritus.
