McClennen to leave Amicas

Amicas president and chief operating officer (COO) Peter McClennen will be leaving the company, according to Form 8-K filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Boston-based PACS vendor said it informed McClennen on October 1 that his contract would not be renewed, and as a result his employment will end on December 31. CEO Steve Kahane will be assuming all day-to-day operational responsibilities for the company, an Amicas spokesperson told AuntMinnie.com.
