MedQuist executives to leave company

The president and the chief operating officer (COO) of speech recognition firm MedQuist are leaving the company.

MedQuist president Frank Lavelle and COO Linda Reino are resigning to pursue other interests. Lavelle's responsibilities as president will be assumed by CEO Howard Hoffman, while the COO duties will be taken over by Mark Ivie, the company's chief technology officer, and Michael Clark, senior vice president of operations.
