Calgary Scientific shows upgraded ResolutionMD at RSNA 2016

Imaging software developer Calgary Scientific launched version 6.0 of its ResolutionMD image viewing software at RSNA 2016 in Chicago.

The new version includes multimonitor support, expanded DICOM modalities in departments other than radiology, extended image sharing with third-party providers, fast healthcare interoperability resources (FHIR) data integration, expanded HTML5 capabilities, and mobile measurements, according to the vendor. Also, there are virtual and physical server deployments with central processing unit (CPU) or graphics processing unit (GPU) options.
