ACR forms new informatics committee

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has launched the Commission on Patient- and Family-Centered Care Informatics Committee.

The committee will also include the following members:

  • Christine Abbott, patient adviser and administrative specialist for facilities support services at Augusta University Medical Center
  • William Brennan Jr., board chair and senior systems engineer at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
  • Dr. Ruth Carlos, professor of radiology and assistant chair of clinical research at the University of Michigan
  • Dr. J. Raymond Geis, ACR IT Informatics Commission vice chair and assistant clinical professor of radiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
  • Steve Hobbs, PhD, professor emeritus in the department of psychological sciences at Augusta University and patient representative at Augusta University Medical Center
  • Dr. Adam Kaye, diagnostic radiologist at Advance Radiology Consultants in Shelton, CT
  • Dr. Marc Kohli, director of clinical informatics and associate professor of clinical radiology in abdominal imaging at the University of California, San Francisco
  • Dr. Stacey Langford, assistant professor of radiology in the pediatric radiology division at the University of Kentucky
  • Dr. Join Luh, radiation oncologist at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA
  • Dr. Rasu Shrestha, chief innovation officer at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and executive vice president of UPMC Enterprises in Pittsburgh
  • Dr. Marc Willis, associate professor of radiology and orthopedics at Baylor College of Medicine
