WITS(MD) has introduced Image Mover, a mobile application that securely captures medical images from smart devices.
After images are captured, Image Mover transfers them to PACS or vendor-neutral archives, so the images can then be integrated into electronic health records and patient portals, according to the firm. No personal health information is ever present on the mobile device, WITS(MD) said.
The app currently supports both iPhone and Android mobile platforms, and it is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
