Teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic (vRad) has been awarded a three-year contract to provide radiology services to a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health system serving Midwestern states.
vRad will deliver on-demand coverage and final interpretation of radiology exams performed throughout the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, which serves more than 54,000 veterans in 101 counties of Nebraska, western Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, the company said.
