Carestream Health will provide its Vue PACS software to the USNS Mercy hospital ship.
Based out of San Diego, USNS Mercy provides acute medical and surgical services for U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine forces deployed on land or sea around the world, according to the vendor. It also contributes medical services for humanitarian relief efforts and victims of disasters.
The ship has 12 operating rooms and 1,000 patient beds, including 80 beds in its intensive care wards, Carestream said.
