NEC Display Solutions of America has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its MultiSync MD210C3 LCD, a 3-megapixel (MP), 21-inch color display.
Designed for use in PACS applications, the diagnostic review monitor features light-emitting diode (LED) backlighting and an integrated front sensor to maintain calibrated brightness, according to the vendor. It also includes a human sensor to reduce LCD brightness when the user leaves the monitor, NEC said.
