DR Systems plans RSNA research study

PACS software developer DR Systems is asking physicians to participate in a study at the Chicago RSNA 2014 meeting of its Image Shuffling technology for reading medical images.

The study will compare the use of Image Shuffling -- which allows radiologists to flip between overlaid comparison images -- with traditional side-by-side comparison of mammography images, according to the vendor. It is being conducted by Harvard Medical School scientists in collaboration with physicians from Cottage Health System and DR Systems.

Physicians can take part in the study at the company's booth and will be entered into a raffle to win an iPad. Participation will take 15 minutes, according to the firm.
