RIS/PACS vendor Infinitt North America has installed a vendor-neutral archive (VNA) at Prime Healthcare Services (PHS), a 23-hospital system based in Ontario, CA.
Seven PHS hospitals are currently sending studies to the EMC Centera Archive, with Infinitt software performing DICOM tag morphing to standardize incoming data and allow universal access to images and reports from a single viewer, according to Infinitt. PHS expects to have 10 hospitals sending data to the archive by the end of 2013, Infinitt said.
