Monteris taps new CEO

MRI-guided laser ablation technology developer Monteris Medical has named Martin Emerson as president and CEO.

Emerson comes to Monteris with more than 25 years of medical device industry experience, including stints as president and CEO of cryoablation technology firm Galil Medical (2008-2016) and urology and gynecology device company American Medical Systems (2000-2008). He is also on the board of directors for Vascular Solutions, Tepha Medical Devices, and Incisive Surgical.
