Standard Imaging releases MR-conditional ion chambers

Radiation calibration and quality assurance firm Standard Imaging has unveiled a new MR-conditional series of its Exradin ion chambers for providing dosimetry for MRI-guided linear accelerator measurements.

The new Exradin series offers six ion chambers, including nonferrous versions of the A1SL, A26, A28, A19, A12, and A12S Exradin ion chambers, according to the vendor. Key features include a waterproof design, low-leakage characteristics, and minimal perturbation, Standard Imaging said. The MR-conditional ion chambers are also outfitted with a black cable to distinguish them from other chambers.
