ViewRay awarded UCLA order

Image-guided therapy developer ViewRay has taken an order from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Health System and Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center for its new research radiation therapy system.

The technology is being developed to feature a patented combination of radiotherapy delivery and simultaneous MRI to provide continuous soft-tissue MR images during treatment so clinicians can see where radiation is being delivered, ViewRay said.
