Synaptive brings BrightMatter to Long Island

3D visualization firm Synaptive Medical has signed North Shore University Hospital of Long Island as a new customer.

The hospital, a member of Northwell Health, is the first on Long Island to implement Synaptive's BrightMatter technology. Northwell Health's Neuroscience Institute and Cancer Institute will utilize the system, which provides imaging, planning, navigation, and robotics for complex brain tumors and spinal surgery, Synaptive said.
