Monteris adds to AtamA product line

Medical device firm Monteris Medical said its 3-tesla MR-compatible AtamA brain surgery stabilization system is now available in the U.S. and Canada.

A 1.5-tesla version of the AtamA system has been available in the U.S. since August 2011. AtamA allows neurosurgery patients to be moved from the operating room into the MRI environment while maintaining secure head positioning, according to the vendor.
