Shine taps new president

Shine Medical Technologies has appointed Todd Asmuth as its new president.

Asmuth will report to the company's CEO, Gregory Piefer, PhD, and will focus on investor and customer relations. He has been a Shine board member for the past two years and has managed four other early-stage ventures, according to the firm.

The appointment comes as Shine prepares to bring to market its first product, molybdenum-99 (Mo-99), Shine said.
