UMRi completes 1st U.S. gamma camera installation

Universal Medical Resources (UMRi) has made the first U.S. installation of Danish nuclear medicine firm DDD-Diagnostic's QuantumCam gamma camera at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau, OK.

QuantumCam has a small footprint and offers flexible detector positioning. It can be used for whole-body, SPECT, cardiac SPECT, and dynamic and static planar imaging procedures, UMRi said.

UMRi is DDD-Diagnostic's exclusive U.S. distributor.
