Telemis debuts PC-based PET/CT viewer

PACS vendor Telemis has introduced version 4.2 of its TM-ReceptionHE image management software, which features a PC-based PET/CT viewer.

The PET/CT viewer provides local image fusion on any PC or laptop, according to the vendor. Physicians can view the axial, coronal, and sagittal axes in PET, CT, and PET/CT images at the same time, Telemis said.

Users can also view maximum intensity projection (MIP) and rotational MIP images, as well as adjust the dimension of the 3D sphere in which the standardized uptake value (SUV) is calculated, the company said. The upgrade is free for customers with a standard software maintenance contract.
