ACNP elects new president

The American College of Nuclear Physicians (ACNP) has named Dr. Hazem Chehabi as its new president. The selection came at the Reston, VA-based organization's annual meeting.

Chehabi is the medical director of Newport Diagnostic Center in Orange County, CA, and is an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.

Chehabi also is board-certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and a distinguished fellow of both the American College of Nuclear Physicians and the American College of Nuclear Medicine.
