Mexican firm acquires Naviscan assets

Compañía Mexicana de Radiología (CMR) has acquired certain assets of PET developer Naviscan, including intellectual property and the Naviscan trademark.

Mexico-based CMR plans to continue sales and support of Naviscan's high-resolution organ-specific PET technology, the company said.

CMR has been a developer and manufacturer of diagnostic imaging equipment and healthcare IT systems for more than 25 years. It recently established a U.S.-based corporation, CMR Naviscan, which will continue to develop and manufacture Naviscan's molecular imaging technology in Carlsbad, CA.
