Testing-instrument firm Unfors Instruments is opening new sales subsidiary offices in India and China, the company announced.
The India subsidiary is in partnership with distributor Rosalina and will be located in Mumbai. The China subsidiary will be located in Shanghai, according to Unfors of Billdal, Sweden.
The opening of the sales subsidiaries in the two countries is part of the company's emerging market growth strategy. Both markets show high gross domestic product (GDP) growth and an increased focus on quality assurance measurements for diagnostic x-ray and radiation protection.
With the new subsidiaries and one in Singapore, Unfors will now operate three offices in the Asia-Pacific region, in addition to its extensive distributor network in the area.
