RLI summit to focus on radiology leadership

The American College of Radiology's (ACR) Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) summit in August will focus on leadership in the healthcare environment.

The summit will be held August 7 to 10 at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. It will include six sessions on the following topics:

  • Strategic adaptation for medical imaging
  • Big data and analytics
  • Social media
  • Medical versus business innovation
  • Business models and financial logic
  • How to identify and fix problems facing radiology practices

Radiology faculty will include Dr. Alexander Norbash of Boston University; Dr. Frank Lexa of the Wharton School and Drexel University College of Medicine, both in Philadelphia; and Dr. David C. Levin of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

The summit will offer a total of 21 RLI credits and 21 American Medical Association (AMA) Physician's Recognition Award (PRA) category 1 credits, ACR said.
