Japan clears HeartFlow's FFR-CT software

Cardiovascular software developer HeartFlow has received regulatory approval for its fractional flow reserve (FFR) CT analysis software from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare (MHLW).

HeartFlow FFR-CT Analysis is a web-based platform that helps clinicians understand the extent of coronary artery disease and how the disease affects blood flow to the heart. It is already available in Europe, the U.S., and Canada, the company said.
