Fluke buys Unfors RaySafe

Fluke Biomedical has acquired testing-instruments provider Unfors RaySafe.

The purchase builds Fluke's portfolio of quality-assurance devices for diagnostic x-ray, real-time dose monitoring systems for healthcare providers, and patient dose-tracking software, according to Fluke. The company serves biomedical engineers, quality-assurance technicians, medical physicists, oncologists, and radiation safety professionals.

Unfors RaySafe was founded in 1994 in Billdal, Sweden, where it still has its headquarters. The firm has offices in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Singapore, India, Japan, and China, Fluke said.
