The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) has announced finalists for the seventh annual Toshiba Young Investigator Award, sponsored by Toshiba America Medical Systems.
The finalists are as follows:
- Dr. Marcio Bittencourt
- Dr. Taylor Dowsley
- Dr. Kate Hanneman
- Dr. Ryo Nakazato, PhD
- Dr. Fabian Plank
The program supports the professional and clinical development of top radiology residents and cardiology fellows within five years of completing a training program, SCCT said. Finalists will give an oral presentation at SCCT's annual scientific meeting to be held in July in Montreal; all five finalists will be granted a free year of SCCT membership, a $1,000 travel stipend, and free registration to the meeting.
SCCT will announce two winners at the meeting, and their manuscripts will be eligible for priority peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
