Calgary Scientific to show education tool at RSNA 2015

Calgary Scientific plans to showcase a new radiology education tool called RadIQ at RSNA 2015.

The tool, developed by Massachusetts General Hospital's department of radiology, provides hands-on case review via mobile devices, simulating the way radiologists and cardiologists review medical images on the job, the firm said.

RadIQ eliminates in-person training and ensures that images are of diagnostic quality, guaranteeing a real-world, mobile experience, achieved through the use of ResolutionMD, Calgary Scientific's enterprise image-viewing system.

RadIQ paired with ResolutionMD simulates a reading room environment and delivers continually updated content, providing doctors with efficient ways to earn continuing medical education (CME) credits.
