Brainlab to highlight new software at ISRS

Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab plans to highlight two new software technologies for the treatment of brain metastases and benign skull base tumors at the upcoming International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) Congress in Yokohama, Japan.

The new packages include automatic brain metastases planning software, which generates radiosurgery plans for efficient treatment of multiple metastases, and adaptive hybrid surgery analysis, which helps balance surgical risk with radiosurgical toxicity when treating benign skull base tumors, the company said.
