Parascript launches new CAD version

Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer Parascript of Boulder, CO, has released version 2.0 of its AccuDetect mammography CAD application.

AccuDetect 2.0 features improved performance and increased potential for lowering false-positive rates in detecting suspicious lesions on mammograms, according to the company. The software integrates with existing analog and digital CAD systems to improve the accuracy of data interpretation through proprietary algorithms and sophisticated "voting" methods to achieve low false-positive rates while maintaining high sensitivity rates.

Parascript sells AccuDetect to OEM customers interested in reducing the false-positive rates of their CAD software.
