Fuji supports free breast cancer screening in Harlem

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA teamed up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to fund free mammograms to women in a Harlem neighborhood last week. The sponsorship was part of the Stamford, CT-based vendor's public education campaign called Images of Health: Mammograms for a Million Moms.

On May 7, 27 women of screening age received a free mammogram at PS 149 Sojourner Truth School, funded by Fuji and the NBCF and carried out by the American-Italian Cancer Foundation (AICF). Fuji also donated $2,500 to PS 149 to support its art program, and will provide one dollar for each mammography pledge card returned up to $2,500.
