Ultrasonix restructures

Canadian ultrasound developer Ultrasonix Medical said that it has restructured its North American operations in a bid to improve profitability and increase focus on its target markets.

Ultrasonix has also made a number of additions to its management team. Business manager of emerging markets Joe Bjorklund has been promoted to vice president of sales, North America. In addition, director of customer service Graham Coulter has been promoted to vice president of customer service and sales operations.
