SonoSite prevails in patent appeal

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, reported that it has successfully defended itself in a patent infringement appeal suit.

The company said the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a lower federal court's summary judgment of invalidity in favor of SonoSite against patent holding firm Neutrino Development.
