NEMA paper touts imaging's role in oncology

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) of Rosslyn, VA, and radiation therapy services firm US Oncology of Houston have released a new white paper on the role of medical imaging in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer.

The white paper was released at a press conference April 5 in Washington, DC. The event also included the release of fact sheets on the benefits of medical imaging, a timeline of major advances in imaging, and definitions of medical imaging technologies.
