PACS vendor IMCO Technologies of Pewaukee, WI, has completed two installations of its IMCO HL7-DICOM Modality Worklist software in Alabama, the company reported.
IMCO was contracted by Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, to install a customized version of IMCO-Worklist for Black Warrior Services in Tuscaloosa.
IMCO-Worklist was installed at all three of Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons' imaging centers in Montgomery.
IMCO-Worklist is a standalone software package that allows patient data to be forwarded from a RIS/HIS/practice management system to the imaging modality, avoiding the need for technologists to re-enter information, according to the company.
