Agfa reaches Impax milestone, launches clinical applications package

Agfa HealthCare of Mortsel, Belgium, has reached a RIS milestone in North America and launched a new clinical applications package for its Impax offering, the company reported.

Agfa has made more than 150 Impax sales and installations in the U.S. and Canada since launching the package in 2004.

Agfa's Impax Clinical Applications package is now available in the U.S., the company said. The package allows point-of-care access for applications such as its Registration-Fusion, X-Ray Angio Analysis, and OrthoGon orthopedic management tools, according to Agfa.

In other Agfa news, the company has integrated Amirsys's STATdx Radiologist Decision Support System with Impax.
