MedQuist adds Illinois install

Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist has installed its SpeechQ for Radiology speech recognition software at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL.

Radiologists at the 356-bed hospital are self-editing 90% of their reports, and report turnaround time has been reduced by more than half since the installation of SpeechQ, according to the Mount Laurel, NJ-based firm.
