GE taps new VP for IT business

GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has named Joseph Vinhais as vice president of quality assurance and regulatory affairs for the company's Integrated IT Solutions business in Barrington, IL.

Vinhais comes to GE from Brooks Automation of Chelmsford, MA, where he was vice president of regulatory compliance. Prior to that, he served in various posts at Textron, Tyco (AMP), and Honeywell (Allied Signal), and he is experienced in elements of manufacturing and IT compliance, GE said.
