PACS vendor ScImage has implemented direct integration of Philips Healthcare's QLab 2D and 3D ultrasound image processing software into its PicomEnteprise PACS offering.
The interface, added as part of a revision to PicomEnterprise, will allow users to launch the QLab application directly from the ScImage PACS workspace. Images and data generated from the QLab analysis will be incorporated into ScImage's PACS Web distribution and archive, along with diagnostic reports and workflow documents, according to ScImage of Los Altos, CA.
