Interface developer Dicom Systems plans to unveil a new feature for its DCMSYS DICOM/HL7 router at next month's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Atlanta.
The new virtualization capability is designed to create HIPAA-compliant secure virtual routes on a DCMSYS device, according to the San Francisco-based firm. It utilizes advanced routing technology, DICOM HL7 pre- and postprocessing, a statistic reports application programming interface (API) module, and DICOM virtualization functionality, Dicom Systems said.
