Agfa HealthCare of Mortsel, Belgium, has introduced its new Impax Enterprise Productivity Suite (EPS) to help manage diagnostic reading and reporting across PACS environments.
Impax EPS is designed to create an enterprise worklist and coordinate reporting activity over a wide area network (WAN).
The system also facilitates the distribution of workload during off-hours to sites where radiologists are on-call, such as late or weekend shifts, and directs network utilization by prioritizing sites for image retrievals.
Agfa plans to roll out the Impax EPS this week at the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) Radiology Summit in Las Vegas.
