Confirma, Guardian partner on CAD

Radiology informatics firm Guardian Technologies International of Herndon, VA, has signed a strategic alliance with computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Confirma of Kirkland, WA.

The companies will collaborate on the design, development, and commercialization of radiology imaging technologies, primarily MRI, for new clinical applications. They will also explore strategies to deliver their combined technologies through Confirma's distribution channels.

Confirma has more than 700 installations of its CADstream product worldwide.
