Digirad sells off three service hubs

Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad has sold three Northern California service hub locations to MD Office Solutions of Rancho Santa Fe, CA.

The asset purchase agreement includes the sale of portable nuclear imaging cameras, vans, and related equipment, and the assignment of certain customer contracts for locations in the Bay Area and Fresno, according to Digirad of Poway, CA. Digirad said the sale is part of the firm's strategy of focusing on a core group of its Digirad Imaging Solutions (DIS) locations.

MD Office Solutions president and CEO Michael Keenan is a former president of DIS.
