Siemens lands Iraq order

Siemens Healthcare has received a contract from the Iraq Ministry of Health valued at approximately $70 million.

The Erlangen, Germany-based vendor will provide its MRI, CT, mobile x-ray, and mammography systems to ministry hospitals in Iraq. Siemens will also service the equipment over the five-year contract, the largest the vendor has received to date in the Middle East.
